Make Your Plans for Lodging NOW!
It seems there is a motorcycle convention in Hot Springs the weekend of the wedding but that's OK as there are lots of places to stay in and around Camp Clearfork. If you are on the guest list and not in a cabin you should have received the email below:
We are very excited about our upcoming wedding celebration. We hope that you received your Save the Date and that you have Sept 11, 2010 marked on your calendar! (if you didn't get your super cool magnet, let me know!)We will be sending out proper invitations soon, but we want to be sure you have time to make reservations and find suitable accommodations if you can attend. We have cabins on site, but are very limited in sleeping quarters. Currently, our immediate family and wedding party guests have taken all spots in the cabins at the camp. Below are some options for you to consider! Something to also keep in mind, there is a motorcycle rally in Hot Springs that weekend…so several hotels are either already booked or have rooms blocked out specifically for this event. Call soon if you want to stay in Historic Hot Springs! Here is a map of the area around Camp Clearfork! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to let us know. You can also find helpful information on our wedding website at http://mikeandbecky.reyher.com
- Hotels: There are options in Hot Springs (you can also search on Expedia to find great deals!) and also in/near Mt Ida, and generally near Camp Clear Fork
- Local Bed & Breakfasts (I did an online search and found quite a few in the area, see if one strikes your fancy!)
- Camp on site! We may not have additional cabin room, but there is plenty of room for tents and/or popups. Best part of this option – camping on-site is FREE!! You will have access to bathrooms, hot showers, etc. There aren’t hookups for big RVs at our site, but there are great sites with hookups right across the street at the Charlton campground.
- Other camps, cabins, etc. This part of the country is PACKED with great camping options, whether cabins or tents or RVs. The closest “big city” to our camp is Mt Ida. If you google for cabins near Mt Ida, AR…you will get lots of options there as well.
Let us know if you have any questions. :)We both hope you can make our big day!Becky & Mike
